Circus Circus Buffet Review

2880 S Las Vegas Blvd

This Vegas Strip buffet used to be derided, but management has made a big effort to offer a larger variety of dishes trying to cater for most tastes.

If you go for lunch you’ll still find hot traditional breakfast dishes on one side (the left, usually); it’s beyond the self-help beverage section, where you will find a large selection of cereals and yogurts.  On the other side you are met by a decent selection of lunch dishes and – of course – the ubiquitous dessert section.

For lunch they offer all the traditional stations, namely American, Carving, Mexican, Asian (with decently filled, large spring rolls), a decent pasta selection, pizza, an average salad bar; besides those, you will find a nice deli meat section with Swiss Cheese, mussels in tomato soup, filled sole.  Moreover, to keep fast-food lovers happy, they offer hot dogs and burger patties and french fries.

It would be unfair to compare the Circus Circus buffet with Bacchanal, for example.  They are in a completely different league and of course their price is completely different.  But, with regards to budget buffets on the Strip, this is probably one of the better ones; having said this, if you can drive or don’t mind using a shuttle, I’d recommend much better budget buffets (and they’re even more affordable!) such as Palms, Red Rock and the huge & delicious Studio B.

Last time we ate at the Circus Circus buffet they were offering made-to-order Caesars salad, which was delicious and had ‘gourmet’ condiments such as anchovies, Parmesan cheese and olive oil.  However, this time (only a short time later) we found a more average salad bar without any made-to-order option.  We have 2 video reviews of this buffet, which you can access by clicking below:

On our YouTube channel Jules at top-buffet you can search for our latest videos of the Circus Circus buffet.  During low season they don’t offer lunch, only breakfast and dinner; however, in high season lunch is back and the prices/hours are as follows:
