Finding a quiet and classy tea or coffee room on the Vegas Strip may be challenging, especially since in the last couple of years there seems to be a trend to primarily attract a young party-like atmosphere; however, there are a few gems, though very few, which may come relatively close to the ideal quiet and classy tea room for either a relaxing time or an informal business meeting.
Bellagio and most high-end resorts will have restaurants open for a quieter afternoon tea; I like Bellagio’s choices because of the great lake (and fountains) views, assuming you manage to secure a view seat, which is actually not that simple to do. But a really nice and unique place, which seems to be quite popular, is the Tea Lounge at the beautiful, high-end Mandarin Oriental resort; Mandarin Oriental is a beautiful casino-free Vegas resort ‘on the Vegas Strip’, though walking to and from the Strip to any City Center resort (Aria, Mandarin Oriental, Vdara) takes quite a long time, due to the size of the City Center and its maze-like layout. Mandarin Oriental’s Tea Lounge offers great views of mid Strip and I think it will appeal to some. You don’t have to be a guest to enjoy this beautiful ‘tea room’ and it’s open all day long until 10pm. You can book ahead of time if you want to make sure you have a good table, and the number is indicated on their own web page.
