myVegas Mobile vs Facebook
We play myVegas on mobile too, just as a way to add more Loyalty Points to our accounts. We have a detailed page on this mobile app; on this page we give you a quick comparison between the Facebook version and the Mobile version of this game, with our opinion on which one is best. Before you even start, I’d recommend you synchronize both accounts. When you start myVegas on mobile it’ll prompt you to connect with Facebook (or synchronize with Facebook); once you do and the app ‘finds you’ on Facebook it’ll ask you to confirm the LP and Chips you have on your Facebook account; when you confirm it, the 2 games are in sync and you can use the mobile version to increment your LP even more!
We also like the mobile version because the games have been modified (slightly or significantly, depending no the game itself) to suit mobile playing; this provides the ‘novelty’ factor after playing on Facebook for months (actually, years!).
Free chips on the myVegas mobile version
are obtained on the mobile version you still have the daily spin (which is rarely generous, at least in our case) but your main source of free chips comes from the Bonus Collection every 4 hours and the challenges. More about this on our detailed Explanation & Mobile Game Tips page.
LP accumulation: they are similar though they seem to differ in that on the mobile version LP are given in ‘larger amounts’ (but more infrequently) rather than 10LP every X spins (the number of spins depends on your level, as explained on our myVegas pages. At lower levels, you will definitely accumulate LP very fast by playing much lower bets than on Facebook.
Drawback of mobile playing: it’s a bit harder to obtain free chips; every time you ‘level up’ you only receive free chips and not LP (certainly nothing significant). For this reason, if you have to choose which one to play, the Facebook version offers more LP for your play.
Summary: we see the mobile app more like the ‘toy version’ of its Facebook counterpart; if you play only to amass loyalty points and redeem rewards (by the way, you may want to read our myVegas rewards redemption tips page), and you don’t have much time to spend playing, the Facebook app seems to offer ‘better value’ and would therefore be the priority play. For fun and additional LP, the mobile app is a great.
And… Don’t forget to avoid getting sucked into buying chips in order to finish the alluring quests 🙂
