 First of all, check one very crucial piece of information: are the pay-outs in cash or are they in the form of free play?  Las Vegas Slot Tournaments are designed to keep you hooked to slots, to keep you around in that very resort and to tempt you to gamble your own money in the interim.  They are not design to make happy winners; those who win are statistically very likely to squander whatever pay-outs they manage to squeeze out of their free-play or whatever cash they win directly.  You have to be incredibly disciplined to avoid this pitfall.

The higher the Slot Tournament pay-out, the higher the number of participants, thus the lower your chances of winning ‘big’.
