Social Rewards Game

Social Rewards Game: the End of Strange

Social Rewards is now Over.  More on this on our Social Rewards End page.

Social Rewards in a nutshell. By using Facebook and Twitter, social rewards is a way to earn ‘free money’ or a credit which you can then spend in any Caesars Entertainment establishment; this is done by tweeting and re-tweeting (or ‘liking’) material partaining to Caesars Entertainment (news, resorts features, concerts, etc); this material is already prepared for you. We’ll go into detail further down. The more online social networks you are signed up with (in this case Twitter and Facebook in particular) actively, the better it’ll be for you to earn points through re-tweeting or liking pre-set messages created by Social Rewards (you’ll see it once you are on their web page). I tell you straight up: it’s not for everybody, it’s not particularly addictive nor exciting and it’s not worth the hassle unless you are a social media addict (an intense Twitter and Facebook user). If you are a social media addict or plan to be, then Social Rewards may be a good way to earn some ‘credit’, which you can then redeem and spend at Caesars Entertainment properties. We have a simple Social Rewards Guide you can refer to before you start. On the rest of page we’ll give you a quick review:

There are fun games and there are boring games… myVegas (set up by the MGM Group, thus involving MGM Group Vegas resorts) is definitely a fun game and it’s easy to get hooked just because it’s fun; it’s also user-friendly, easy, catchy and… A real set of slot games! On the other hand, Social Rewards (set up by Caesars Entertainment resorts) is not a ‘game’: it’s a series of tweets and ‘likes’ and ‘clicks’ here, there and everywhere, without real participation and definitely without any excitement, especially when the applications are slow to respond. You’ll be forced to watch a video you don’t want to watch, answer very silly questions you don’t want to answer, tweet stuff you don’t want to tweet… There is no fun in this, unless you are into tweets for the sake of it, for example. I suspect that the Social Rewards ‘program’ is trying to target young party goers (well, this is actually what I believe strongly just by the current ‘look’ and ‘feel’ of Caesars Entertainment Resorts in general), whilst myVegas is trying to target gamblers (generally speaking); this is why myVegas is an online set of fun slot games whilst Social Rewards is just about sending tweets and likes to all you friends and ‘keeping the conversation going’ about Caesars Entertainment resorts (and occasional offers) in Vegas.

Note for beginners: unfortunately (and this is the first fault of the Social Rewards program), you must have your Total Rewards card or number already before you sign up to Social Rewards and… First timers can only do so in person at a Caesars Entertainment property (terrible, unusable idea for hundreds of thousands of potential users/customers); on the other hand, the much more user-friendly myVegas program lets you play even without an M Life number (you can sign up later on, in person), allowing you to play, accumulate your loyalty points and redeem them just by using your real name when you redeem online. But, let’s say you already have a Total Rewards card (or at least you know your Total Rewards number and… You are a social media addict. What now?
