Where are you? After the tumultuous last year, when someone seems to drop off the face of the earth, people get worried. Your last YouTube clip was from March 2020.

Hello Bob! Well the irony was that after my very last trip to Las Vegas I decided to go to Europe (as you know I have family there), and then Covid erupted. Restrictions over restrictions made it impossible for me to travel to the US; that, coupled with the fact that many buffets were closed, made it near-useless for me to travel to do my reviews. I had planned to come over to Las Vegas in December for my usual 3 months winter escape there, but I think at this point I will wait ’til February, also because I would ideally like to wait for more buffet openings. HOWEVER: I have close friends in Las Vegas and they keep me very well informed. In fact, when I go to buffets I often go with one of them to make sure the objectivity remains!
Some buffets are still closed to the Covid so I have updated the list with the latest info on https://top-buffet.com/vegas-best-5-all-you-can-eat/. Do not hesitate to ask any other questions! Jules

Hi Jules hope you are safe and Healthy in these terrible times. What do you think the future of Vegas buffets will be? Do you think they will survive and reopen with new rules in place? We are also avid cruisers and I know that industry will be changing for sure. Thanks for all your information can’t wait to get back to Vegas for the 4th of July(hopefully)

Hello Dorene! I am fine, thank you. I do hope you and your loved ones are doing fine too. These are indeed tough times and for travelers like us it’s been particularly tough. But now with the cure / treatment finally being rolled out (fingers crossed it will be rolled out everywhere in the world), hopefully things may improve at last. Most Vegas buffets are only temporarily closed. If the resorts calculate that their being closed has not affected attendance into the casinos (for example), they may well stay closed. But I am hopeful given the fact that some buffets have stayed open against all odds, and not only the very famous ones such as Bacchanal. Even the ultra affordable Red Rock buffet is open! Studio B closure was a massive disappointment but I suspect it’s due to the fact that many of its visitors were local, and maybe that market has dicreased due to Covid, at least for now. The same with cruises; I, like you, love cruises and was planning to do a world cruise just before Covid hit (so I had to postpone); I think that if the new cure/treatment is rolled out timely, seriously and made available to all, we will at some point reach natural immunity for a lot of people, and that should ease everything. It’s a political choice for those in power, however, so for that reason things may not be as easy as they should be.
Fingers crossed. I do take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Christmas and New Year. May this one be the last one with restrictions. Imagine what our lives will be like once we’re free again. Imagine how much more we will appreciate our lives then! Hugs.

“Biggest and best buffet on Fremont”
There are exactly 2 buffets “on Fremont”
    LOL
Biggest of 2- yes. But the other, Golden Nugget, is better.
If B-Connected were honest they would put a sign out “Biggest and Worst buffet on Fremont”
Or “B-Connected-you can always count on us for top-line of the bottom of the barrel buffets. With our famous swimming in water items”

Hi Jules. Just saw your video in November on MLife free play. We were at the Luxor mid Deceber 2019 and we were NOT allowed to use free play with a comp room offer either. Tried at MGM Grand and no go either. We are MLife Gold. Just thought I would share with you an update.

Thank you Bob 🙂 , yes, I did write about this on this website (but if you saw a page where this update was missing please report it to me, thank you). But you ARE allowed at Mirage! Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand are the worst. I avoid gambling there just for that reason.

Hello and hi to gorgeous Florida! I spend time in Indian Harbour Beach when I can! If budget is not an issue, for sure Aria. You will find plenty of good options for health conscious and vegan eaters 🙂 If you want to go for breakfast I’d go towards the end so you can enjoy the better lunch options (for vegans). If you are on a budget the AYCE buffet at Palms is a good bet. Lots of love to you both, Jules

Hi there! I hear palace station, the feast buffet has a whole vegan station. And heard it isn’t so bad. What is your opinion about it. Are you planning on doing a review on it anytime soon? Thank you 😊

Hello! Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Palace station is a’cheap’ buffet which has however improved lately and it’s worth a visit if budget influences your choice; out of the ultra budget buffets it’s definitely now one of the better ones, just like A.Y.C.E. at Palms. However right now they are in lockdown, though I suspect they won’t stay closed for long, at least not the casinos.

In addition… They do have some vegan options just as the AYCE at Palms. Same company now, btw. Ironically these buffets have more vegan options that say Bacchanal, which is appalling in that respect. Jules 🙂

            Jules,

I hope your doing well during Corona, I have a quick question. I was looking at the Treasure Island website and the buffet is no longer mentioned. Have they been closed?

Hello George! Nice to hear from you! I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Christmas and New year.
Yes, I am doing well, thank you, except for the restrictions upon restrictions the country where I am now is imposing. Many buffets in Las Vegas are temporarily still closed, which is one of the reasons why I have not moved mountains to come to Vegas yet (which I would have done otherwise). I have updated the list on https://top-buffet.com/vegas-best-5-all-you-can-eat/ to include which ones are open and which ones are still closed due to Covid. The biggest shock was Studio B, which was always packed; however, I suspect it’s due to the fact that most of its customers were local and that traffic may well have decreased since Covid.
